The Important Stuff List

There are many many MANY tips online about organising your life. Most with some rather natty buzz words - I'm still amused by the theory of "Swallow the Flog" - basically, do the worst thing first to get it out of the way and to make the rest of the day just that little bit easyer. The theory goes, that once you've swallowed a frog nothing else will phase you!

There are about 1.8 million results for 'Swallow the flog' on google, e.g. Matt Huntter, or this one etc.

One of the ohter tips I've picked up is this

Make a list of just the three most important things you need to do

So, here is my thinned out list with my Next Actions (oh yes, I'm a GTD-er)

  1. Declutter my life
  2. Save money
  3. Lose weight
See, a much better list than that rambling one I had earlier :-)

My Goals

  • Re-organise, declutter and generally tidy up the physical "stuff" of my life
  • Reduce my BMI to 'normal'
  • Start saving
  • Reduce my spending
  • Start learning again
  • Work out what I want to do with my lif
  • Come up with a way of running my life that will prevent me getting back into a mess again

Doesn't look too hard does it?
